I was amazed to learn that the author never visited Paris or the area she wrote about.
Her descriptions cane from research. It was an interesting look at MARIE ANTOINETTE
and the society of the royals.
From page one, I was hooked. Her depiction is both entertaining and instructive. I hope to see more! It's with great enthusiasm that I recommend this book.
main characters who have often been broad brushed. Loved the sense of family, loyalty, and devotion among the characters. Oddly enough, even though I knew the eventual outcome of the story, I found myself hoping for a different one.
